i find it opens with a strong licorice like sweetness and a sharp smell of alcohol. within a minute youll have a moderately sweet and floral fragrance that lingers well without fading rapidly. stays without that initial overpowering sweetness. it lasts well in moderate weather but youll definitely want to carry this one one you for a couple more extra sprays on a hot day
